Resident Bill of Rights

Under Florida Statute §429.28, every resident in an assisted living facility has the right to:

Florida Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program

The Ombudsman Program is a volunteer-based organization that advocates for the rights of residents in long-term care facilities. Their services are free and confidential.

To report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult or child.
